Well they both have an inverted Pretzel Loop but thats about it. Please tell me that's a joke. Rite and Dragster both have a top hat, it's doesn't meant the ride experiences any anything in common. You're going to confuse PrincessTatsu - Superman: UF and Tatsu are at the opposite end of the coaster spectrum. -------------------- Coaster Count: 250 (200/50)

Yeah, they have nothing in common at all. I was just saying that only thing they have in common is that they both have a pretzil loop (but Supermans is about a quarter of the size. Oh, and they are both flyers of course. Experience wise, there from here to the moon apart. Rite? Do you mean Rita? It so, Rita does not have a top hat (not that it really matters, just letting you know

Ok, just want to remind you how fragile some people's understanding of the industry is, and when you come in with a comment like that, it can just mess it all up.
Yes, Rita. Ah, ok, thanks, good to know. You know what I mean though. -------------------- Coaster Count: 250 (200/50)

That's interesting. It's weird, I've riden Tatsu but not Superman, Ultimate Flight, I've riden Viper, but not Great American Scream Machine, I've riden Top Thrill Dragster, but not Kingda Ka, and I riden Mantis, but not Chang. So I don't how true all these coaster comparisons are.

Are you familiar with their stats? You don't have to ride a ride to have a general sense of what to expect.

Well thats kind of true. I did not expect KK to be as bad as it was after riding TTD first.

"As bad as it was"? Let's keep things in perspective, as if KK is bad.
KK and TDD are not the SAME ride, but they obviously are an overwhelmingly similar experience. Yes, there are difference, and there's nothing wrong with preferring one over the other. But saying one is good and the other is bad is pretty silly. -------------------- Coaster Count: 250 (200/50)

Not really. KK is very rough, and the OSR's do cause discomfort. TTD on the other hand is real smooth and the lap bars are a great asset. How may SLC's have you been on? I have been on a fair few and some are great (really smooth) while others are just plain horrid. The exact same ride, totally different experience.

I wouldn't even consider the TTD/KK comparison to be anything close to the smooth/rough SLCs. Some SLCs are glass smooth. Others are just torture. When it comes to KK and TTD, one was a little rougher than the other, and has more annoying restraints.
In my experience, KK had a bit more bumps, and the restraints were kind of a pain. To say KK was "very rough" and TTD was "real" smooth greatly exaggerates the subtle difference I came across. To characterize them as "totally different experiences" seems way, way off to me. Yeah, they're different enough for argument's sake, but let's not pretend one coaster is the best ride in existence and the other is a steaming pile of horseshit. I list them one right after another in my rankings. Noticeably different? Sure. Totally different? No freaking way. -------------------- Coaster Count: 250 (200/50)
